At Hirota Shrine in Nagashima, Aomori City, learn the proper etiquette to make a prayer before receiving a blessing from the chief priest under the light of paper lanterns designed by ‘Nebuta’ creators. Finish by receiving a cup of ‘omiki’ (ceremonial sake). As a momento of your spiritual experience, you will also receive an original wooden amulet from Hirota Shrine, as well as a book for collecting ‘Goshuin’ (temple stamps).
