Sendai Sake Bar-crawl

Pair the finest local drops with local food!

Home to some of the highest quality rice and spring water in Japan, it is no surprise that the Tohoku region is a paradise for lovers of good Japanese sake! Discover new favourites as you hop between local sake-bars, pairing your drink with tasty local food as you go.

Choosing which sake to order can be a head-scratch-inducing business, but on this tour you will learn how to decipher the labels, how to order like a pro and, of course, how to appreciate the many different varieties of Japan’s national drink!

Your guide will take you to three different sake-bars recommended by Sendai locals. You will enjoy a glass of sake and a plate of local food at each stop! Once the tour ends, feel free to continue on drinking – your guide will let you in on some more local recommendations.
