Choosing which sake to order can be a head-scratch-inducing business, but on this tour you will learn how to decipher the labels, how to order like a pro and, of course, how to appreciate the many different varieties of Japan’s national drink!
Your guide will take you to three different sake-bars recommended by Sendai locals. You will enjoy a glass of sake and a plate of local food at each stop! Once the tour ends, feel free to continue on drinking – your guide will let you in on some more local recommendations.
Your guide will be waiting for you in front of McDonald Sendai Aoba-dori store (just outside of Aobadori-ichibancho Station on the Tozai Subway line).

After a quick introduction you will head towards the atmospheric alleyways of Bunka-yokocho and Iroha-yokocho.
Enjoy a walking tour through the alleyways, learning about the history of the area and keeping an eye out for some bars to return to later!
First stop! Choose from the varieties of local sake on offer and enjoy one glass with a plate of local food.
