Feeling hungry? Shiogama is home to the most sushi restaurants in Japan, as well as many historic sweet shops, teahouses, and Miyagi sake breweries! On this tour, you will start your day at Shiogama’s wholesale fish market (nakaoroshi market) with its rows of fishmongers and coffee at a newly built cafe popular with young people.
On the food tour, enjoy local food from Doraemon’s favorite dorayaki to sake tasting and miso-flavored gelato! Then we will take a sightseeing boat to Matsushima, where we will have a seafood bowl for lunch, then stroll around the tourist spots, and finally, have a matcha tea time at Kanran-tei, which has a very nice view. It will be an unforgettable trip.
